Hand Crocheted Rug from Recycled Fabrics

These rugs are great for accenting a bathroom or even make great pet mats!

I collect and shred re-purposed fabrics then tie them together to form large balls of "yarn" that I then use to crochet the rug. Each rug varies in size based on how large each fabric is that I shred and how many hours I put into it.  I mainly use recycled sheets and curtains because they shred well without tattering and are very strong and durable.

Used as a pet rug they are great for sunbathing near a window or protecting couches, beds, and car seats from hair and dander. Loved by both dogs and cats!
