Jumbo Crescent Earrings - Paper Quilled

These stunning crescent earrings are handcrafted by the art of paper quilling and are one of a kind. I used specialty quilling paper in a gorgeous rust shade to create different sized circles for this design. This is for people who love BIG earrings! These are sure to elicit many compliments! The great thing about paper quilled earrings is that they are lightweight! So even though these are very large earrings they are as light as a feather! No sagging earlobes with these earrings!

These special earrings are finished with niobium jumprings and earwires. Why niobium? It is as hypoallergenic as pure gold! Perfect for those with sensitive ears. It is also non-tarnish! I searched high and low for what type of high end earwires I wanted to carry and I believe niobium to be the best!

I am constantly thinking of new designs for my jewelry. As I was watching American Idol each week I noticed the huge crescent shaped earrings that Jennifer Lopez, Naima, Pia, and other contestants were wearing. So for several weeks I had the idea brewing in my mind. Finally I sat down to create a pair and here it is! I have more in the works, each one different and unique!

They are carefully hand varnished for a sturdy, water resistant finish.

Each earring measures 3" (7.5cm) wide and 3 1/4" (8.5cm) long

Quilled earrings are super light-weight, gorgeous, delicate in appearance, yet can last as long as other jewelry thanks to the water resistant coating.

This pair of earrings, like all my jewelry, comes packed safely in a pretty gift box. If you order multiple items, I may pack in fewer boxes than there are items, unless you request otherwise.

Care Instructions: Care for your paper quilled jewelry as you would any fine jewelry. Keep it safe in a jewelry box or on an earring stand when not in use. They are water resistant, so rain won't hurt them. If they get wet, simply dab with a tissue. If they get very wet, dab with a tissue and lay out to dry. Do not wear while bathing or swimming.
