The bracelet is 7 1/2 inches.  It has a slide clasp.  It was made of anodized aluminum scrap pieces.  Another piece on this site is the necklace that matches.  It, along with the necklace, won first prize at a recycle event this April.  It was a real challenge to dream up this effort from scrap that was left from cutting out scales for chainmaille vests.  It is smooth on the edges so it won't do harm to yourself or others.  It makes a bold statement though.

This item was made out of scrap metal for a recycle competition. It won fist place in the wearable art class.  It is the byproduct of producing scales for chainmaille.  I cut and sanded the corners and punched two holes in one end and strung them on wire.   It is a 16" choker.

This is a great necklace for anyone who wants attention.  Whenever I wear it, I have to tell how it is  made.  It is really out there.  It can be worn casually or dress up.  I have green, red, silver, and purple. This one is red.
