Crafted from a single piece of 16 gauge argentium sterling wire from recycled resources, this earring is hammered in a swirly curve and then gracefully fashioned to feed through your ear and accent your lobe.

Approximately 5/8" long, they're delicate and graceful. They'll arrive in a recycled craft box complete with ribbon and complimentary sunshine polishing cloth and 3M anti tarnish strip.

What's argentium sterling? To answer that question, it's important to know what traditional sterling is. Traditional sterling is 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% copper - it's the copper that causes tarnishing. Argentium silver substitutes germanium, a white metal for a portion of the copper. Because it still has the same percentage of fine silver it's still referred to as sterling. It has a high tarnish resistance, which makes it a perfect modern choice for the wearer.

Why recycled sterling silver? It's good for the environment and shares the same high quality as traditional sterling silver. I pay a little more to obtain my raw materials, but I feel it's worth it. I hope you do too.
