These mittens are handknit in fingering weight wool. They feature a strong geometric pattern which is shown to great effect by the navy and white colorway. These mittens are knit at 11 stitches per inch with a corrugated rib cuff. They are ideal for moderate winters, here in Minnesota I pull them out around September and wear them until the temps dip below zero. My mother, who is very sensative to wool, tells me that the wool used for make these does not itch her at all. These mittens are roomy enough to wear glove liners for those in colder climates.
