about me

My name is Anna.  I'm not really good at talking about myself but I'll do my best here.

What I like to do most is writing, crocheting, sewing, reading, designing jewelry and greeting cards and taking long rides through the country with my Hunny Bunny.  It's usually on those rides that my creative juices begin to flow.  The brilliant colors of the sunset, a sandy beach, the ebb and flow of the tide, the emerging buds of a spring flower, the changing colors of autumn leaves or a frosty snowfall all provide the basis for many of my creations.

My husband is a jack-of-all-trades and loves to spend time in his workshop creating one-of-a-kind items with wood, brass, silver, paint, clay or anything else he can get his hands on.  LOL  He also seems to possess quite a knack for finding "junk" at yard sales, flea markets, etc. and transforming it into something unbelievable.  Visitors to our home often ask, "Where'd you buy that lamp, desk, candelabra, etc.?" and I'm so proud to respond, "Oh, my husband made that!"

My husband has a life-threatening illness and his hobbies provide a much-needed diversion from the fact that he’s quite ill.  The three times per week treatments leave him physically exhausted so he’s only able to create on his “good” days.  Please keep him in your prayers.   The money we earn with on Meylah goes toward expenses not covered by insurance.
