A red-winged black bird perched on a cattail at North Creek Park

Having an unexpectedly free afternoon, I grabbed my 500mm lens and biked down to North Creek Park to have a look around. There weren't many flowers blooming and the hummingbirds were getting very scarce, but there were still a couple of red-winged blackbirds singing and posing.
