Ajay Garg is a Jaipur, India based resident, who has overcome his physical handicap to emerge as an internationally renowned artist in painting Indian Miniatures.

At the tender age of three, an injection for treating an injury reacted adversely, and he lost his speech and hearing faculties. At five, his talent was recognized by Shri Sualal, artist at the former Royal court of Dholpur (Rajasthan). Ajay turned his handicap into a tremendous focus and internal vision that can be seen in his paintings. His paintings have exquisite detail,
including some that are completed with a single-hair brush and the use of a magnifying lens. Recently, Ajay specializes in producing these fine miniature figures on a kernel of rice or an almond. His paintings are exhibited throughout the world, including India, UK and USA.

Ajay is also actively involved in welfare of the Deaf community and gives free training to hearing impaired children in Jaipur, India.
