Statue of Liberty - My Intrepretation

This painting was inspired when I recently saw a story on Liberty. I was fascinated by the story. I learnt a lot about this famous iconic figure and wanted to put it on a canvas. The architecture is absolutely a work of art. This painting is my interpretation of Liberty. I added lot of colors and effects to reflect Liberty. Now, I am asking my parents to take me to see this wonderful architecture.

About The Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty (Liberty Enlightening the World; French: La Liberté éclairant le monde) is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, designed by Frédéric Bartholdi and dedicated on October 28, 1886. The statue, a gift to the United States from the people of France, is of a robed female figure representing Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom, who bears a torch and a tabula ansata (a tablet evoking the law) upon which is inscribed the date of the American Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776. A broken chain lies at her feet. The statue is an icon of freedom and of the United States: a welcoming signal to immigrants arriving from abroad.

I am only selling reproduction of this painting. If you are serious of owning the original painting, please reach out to me at chiragdart@gmail.com.

Here are the details of the Giclee reproduction:

Size: 14x14x1.5 inches

Materials: Enhanced mono-type giclee on gallery wrapped canvas stretched around wood frames and stapled on the back. Ready to hang. Does not require a frame.

What is a Giclee reproduction? A giclee is a fine art professional digital reproduction which starts with a high resolution digital scan and then uses a twelve-color, wide format inkjet printer to accurately reproduce the original colors. Prints are on archival paper or treated canvas to ensure a long life. An enhanced reproduction means the artist embellishes strokes of color to make each print a one-of-kind creation providing the collector with a reasonably priced alternative to an original.

Shipping: Ships FREE to any United States address. International delivery available. Please contact me to confirm shipping options. Ships directly from my Studio. All paintings are insured from damage or loss.

Returns: I want to ensure your 100% satisfaction with every investment. I want you to love each painting as much as I do! Full refund if shipment is returned within 30 days.

Signature: All reproductions are signed by the artist on bottom edge. A signed Certificate Of Authenticity will be included with the painting.

Copyright Chirag Vedullapalli, 2013. All rights reserved by artist. Purchase does not transfer copyright. No reproduction is allowed. Please do not print or reproduce my work without permission. If you would like to purchase or gift a reproduction just ask! Thanks

Om is not a word but rather an intonation, which, like music, transcends the barriers of age, race, culture and even species. It is made up of three Sanskrit letters, aa, au and ma which, when combined together, make the sound Aum or Om.

I like it because if it is repeated with the correct intonation, it can resonate throughout the body so that the sound penetrates to the centre of one's being, the atman or soul.

I created this painting to share my creative soul with you.

How did I create this painting

Details

You can only purchase a reprint of this painting.
Nirbhaya - We Stand Together

The time is now!! We need to stand together.

"People underestimate their capacity for change. There is never a right time to do a difficult thing." John Porter

My sincere thanks to Rep. Marcie Maxwell for purchasing my painting to be a part of the Democratic Caucus room in the State Capitol in Olympia, WA as a reminder that "WE STAND TOGETHER" to create healthier and safer communities.

Thanks for reading my view. Let me know what will make you stand together against violence.

I experienced my magical moment at Tiger Mt Trail. After the long hike I decided to enjoy the sunset. I sat and watched the sky turn from bright blue to bright orange. As I was ready to leave a burst of wind touched my neck. Thousands of birds flew over me and created beautiful formations. I was mesmerized at how wonderfully all the elements came together. I realized as long as you keep your eyes open there is a magical moment every day

Details

You can only purchase a reprint of this painting.
Space Needle at Night

STORY

This painting is my view on how I saw the Space Needle when the sun was setting behind the faraway hills of Mercer Island. On that day when we were at Seattle, the sky reflected the evening sun with vibrant reds and oranges. The evening sky was lit up with bright colors and it made the Space Needle glow in the night.

I decided to paint this experience. To give you a quick background, Space Needle is an iconic building in Seattle. The Space Needle was built for the 1962 world fair. When it was built it was the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River.

At Space Needle, there are lots of artisans who showcase their art, a cool kids area to play, an EMP museum to visit and the most cool thing for me is to be on top of the space needle to see 360 degree view of the Seattle city. The restaurant on top of space needle is revolving and it is a fun experience to have dinner with your family.

Back to my story, when the sky was lit up with bright colors, the space needle was beautiful and gorgeous. When you looked at it, it made the entire family to share their perspectives and filled the environment with happy energy. I loved it! This moment was so memorable, I will never forget it!

Hope you enjoy this painting and see Space Needle with a new perspective. I recommend everyone who comes to Seattle should make a visit and relish it.

How did i do this painting!

I did this painting on 12X48 canvas. I used many layers of bright red, purple, orange, blue and yellow colors to get the effect. I use acrylics to paint all my paintings.

What will i do if this painting sells:

I created this painting to support Showcase Seattle's mission. All the proceeds will be donated to Showcase Seattle efforts. You can either purchase or share this post with your friends. This is part of the rainbow series.

During the summer the big leaves on the tree turn a bright green under the sun enjoying the sunlight. When the season turns to autumn the leaves on the tree turn vibrant magenta's, oranges and reds. When it turns to winter the trees go into hibernation and drop all their colorful leaves to the ground, so it can take a long nap. Last when it is spring the trees slowly wake up. They grow little leaves that slowly grow into bigger leaves so when it is summer they can become a bright green with happiness. This cycle will never stop so the trees will always be joyful and happy.

I have started painting a new series of paintings I call “Trees, Trees and Trees”. I love them and I think you will to. Look for the products titled “Trees, Trees and Trees” to be posted in the next 2-3 weeks.

I did the painting by using deep, vibrant colors, and by using many different perspectives.

Shipping

All of my orders will ship in 48-72 hours!

This is better than I had thought it would be." exclaimed Mrs. Sorenson when she saw her commissioned painting.

3 weeks ago, my coolest teacher Mrs. Sorenson's asked me to create a painting that captures her sweet memories of getting proposed. This event was a once in a lifetime experience for them. I said Yes! I will surely do it.

What she wanted me to do was to preserve her memories on an canvas that makes her and her husband remember all the aspects of that day such as the wind blowing on their face, seeing birds fly and chirp, and a beautiful sky on that day when she was proposed.

I tried to capture her memorable experience in my painting. I used simple and delicate colors to show the romantic mood of nature, the streaks of the blue sky, the mellow gray bridge and the wooden docks where the birds were sitting and watching the magical moment.

I also surprised her by wrapping it well and making it special for her. I was so happy to see her reaction. As an artist, getting a great feedback make all the difference.

I am really jazzed that I could make a difference. Now the question for you is have you captured your memories on a canvas that makes you happy? Share your thoughts!

If you ever decide that you need to surprise someone or capture your memories on a canvas, please send me an email.

Greeting Card Details

Each greeting card set includes the following specifications ready to mail:

5 Identical Greeting Cards with Envelopes

Size of 4 x 5 1/2" Color Prints

100# Cover Stock Paper with Gloss Finish

Shipping

All of my orders will ship in 24-48 hours!

P.S. Don't be Shy!

This Christmas, I am offering 150 dollars off for short time.

The Story

On a warm July 31st, a herd of elk were grazing nearby without a single care of what was happening around them. Then the alert call from the leader of the herd sends all the elks to stop eating and figure out where they threat is, the see a mountain lion that is watching them.

Suddenly, the mountain lion springs into action making all the elks panic. During this panic, one of the younger elk named James got separated from his herd while running for his life. While he is running as fast as the wind he gets his front right foot stuck in a mole hole and falls down. This fall fractured a small part of his leg which caused him a lot of pain. The good news is he was not attacked. Since James is still scared he keeps on running, he separates himself from his tribe.

After many painful days of walking and being very lonely James decides to make leaf bed to sleep at for the night. It usually takes a regular deer 30 min to make a bed but it took the whole day for James because of his fractured foot. When he put his head on the bed of leaves, he immediately slept.

The sounding of crunching leaves wakes him up. He sees a small herd of elks but they don’t see him. James knows he really needs help. He makes a distressed cry which makes other elks to come towards him to help him. As the Elks come closer, James leg starts to magically heal and helps him recover from the pain. James thanks all the elks and joins the new tribe of elk. James shares his story and prepares the new tribe to learn ways to fight mountain lions.

The moral of the story is “Seek help when you need it. Don’t be shy”

How did I do this painting!

I did this painting on 24X36 canvas. I used many layers of bright red, blue, green and yellow colors to get the effect using acrylics.

What will I do if this painting sells:

I create my paintings to help kids at children's hospital. I created this painting to support Arteast, local non profit organization by participating in their annual "150 Feet of Art Auction" event. I donated my painting to support the local art community. I created this painting on a 12X12 canvas.

I decided to create a beautiful rabbit who regained his confidence after losing everything.

I need your support. Please bid for my painting and make it part of your art collection by May21st,2011. BID ITEM #69

Here is the "Come Back" story as follows:

This story "Come Back" is about regaining confidence after losing everything.

In a rabbit legend, every time you do something good you get a color and most rabbits are more attracting.

It was a hot summer morning on a dry savanna, not much lived, but many could survive, this day was unusual the trees were more parched than ever and the ground as hard as metal.

Across the savanna the ground only sucked up the remaining liquid in moments, and as well as warming up the already burning ground. When a rabbit was hopping around in a very unusual way. The hop of it’s was with the right front leg off the ground just like a limping horse.

The rabbit had been in an intense fight that day with a coyote but it had barely escaped. But before the scary encounter the rabbit was a very beautiful rabbit, the prettiest of all the rabbits. The rabbit had blues, greens, red, and many more wonderful colors.

The fight made the rabbit very bloody. The blood had wiped his beautiful coat right off him.

. He lost his beautiful colors because he engaged in a fight. To regain his colors, he has to help fellow rabbits.

Now the rabbit was alone none of his friends liked him anymore because of his pale, no color coat. He tried to help as many people at night because that was the time when no one other rabbits helped the older rabbits, including the elderly. He got pinches of blue that night, from helping the elderly. Then he got red, then browns, then black and many more colors.

My painting is of the rabbit after it regained his colors. The rabbit’s friends all came back and the rabbit lived a wonderful life happily ever after.
