When it comes to pearls, I think simple is best. For years and years I didn't really appreciate pearls, but once I got married, they became another new love in my life.
I designed this style of earrings for a girlfriend's wedding. Oftentimes, when my close friends get married, I offer to make their jewelry and/or their bridesmaids' jewelry for free if they help pitch in for supplies. There is only one rule, I like to hang out with the bride while I work on making their jewelry so they can provide feedback and feel involved with the process. Usually this also entails a glass of Chardonnay and a bite to eat...it's always a blast!
I like these earrings so much that I decided to begin selling them through my store for any other gals who might want them for a special occasion. They are great because brides/bridesmaids can wear them over and over again, they aren't the type of wedding apparel that you wear once then hide in a deep dark space never to be seen again. I was overjoyed to get multiple compliments from the bridesmaids at my friend's wedding. To me, if they are happy, I'm happy!
