White Ball Drop Earrings

I've always had a tough time finding white earrings, so when I saw these beads at the last gem and jewelry show I attended I purchased them instantly.   I can't say for certain exactly what they are, some say mother of pearl (which I highly doubt)...they definitely feel heavier than acrylic, could they possibly be porcelain?  Anyway, I could be guessing on this one all night long...

My mom recently bought a similar pair of earrings from me using the same beads and this weekend she mentioned that she gets compliments on them all the time.  It was like music to my ears.  I'm not sure if she says this just because she's my mom and she likes it when I feel good about myself or if she's telling the truth, but either way, it did make me happy!

But back to the earrings...these babies are approximately 2 inches in length from the base of the ear wire to the end of the earring.  They are made with bulky sterling silver chain and sterling silver leverback ear wires.

Be forewarned if you have young kids (or puppies) and you're thinking of buying them, kids (and puppies) love to grab on and tug on this style of earring!
