I'm sure by now you've noticed that I really like making these watches! This one is created with beautiful purple beads, hand carved (not by me) out of nuts from the Buri Palm tree and with genuine amethyst gemstone chips.
These watches fit virtually any adult wrist. The nature of memory wire is that it retains its basic shape, even while allowing for it to be stretched or tightened by gently pulling or coiling the bands.
Budget Priced!
This one is priced a little lower than most of my watches. The differences are subtle, but I want to be up front about the price variance. The ends of this watch are not finished with the pretty silver plated cones that I typically use to construct my watches with. Instead, the ends are simply looped.
Looped ends are how most memory wire jewelry is made. The coned ends that I usually add are the exception, not the rule. But it's the exception to somebody else's rule, and to ME, loops lack the finesse that makes my watches stand out.
I also used a square watch face on this one, and I guess I'm partial to the oval shaped ones. The square one seems to have just a little more movement, a little more wiggle, than the others.
Still, it's a beautiful piece made with quality materials, and it is priced for those who are on a slightly tighter budget at a hefty 33% less than the cone-tipped ones. And right now, you can save even more while it's on sale!
