I designed this watch in such a way that the watch face sits uniquely vertical, rather than the typical horizontal display. You always know when someone is looking at their watch... their elbow sticks out to the side and their arm crosses in front of their chest. Not so with this watch. It displays "right side up" whether you're driving, typing, or anything else in which your arm is at a natural angle. It is strung on Memory Wire, which allows it to fit virtually any wrist comfortably and securely.
On either side of the watch face are bangles of silver plated beads and Adlay seeds. More commonly known as Job's tears, because of its pearly tear-drop shape and as a reference to the Biblical man who suffered so much tragedy, this tropical grass grows wild in parts of the far east. While in the US it is used mostly as an ornamental grass or for beaded jewelry, it is a primary food source high in anti-oxidants, mostly eaten by peasants.
NOTE: All CLEARANCE priced items will be shipped NO FRILLS in a padded envelope with no pretty packaging. Clasps and other components on silver and gold toned jewelry may be slightly tarnished. This watch does not have the "tab" that prevents the battery from running, and should be replaced before giving as a gift.
