I started out many years ago, collecting rocks and learning how to cut and polish them. That led to gifting my friends and family with shiny stones. I couldn't keep giving people rocks. A friend suggested that I enroll in a jewelry making class. I did just that and spent a few years learning my craft. I am still learning new techniques and I love every minute of it. It's been an exciting journey.

I work primarily with sterling silver, but I have fun with copper, brass and 14kt. gold, as well. I am just starting to use more of the Argentium silver. It resists tarnish better than sterling and works in a similar manner for fabricating. I design each piece to fit the stone. So, most of the pieces are one of a kind. I might make another piece that is similar, but it won't be exactly the same. All the jewelry listed here is fabricated by me, in my Northern California studio.

You will see pearls in my collection, as well. I took a class to learn the proper techniques for handknotting pearls and have been stringing pearls for a few years now. I find it very relaxing.

When I'm not making jewelry or cutting rocks, I am with my horse or my dogs. And then there's the sewing....
