I dabbled with making a summertime tote using a heavy but pliable, soft, black mesh for the entire body. The inside of the tote is mesh all the way to the bottom, but on the outside there is 5 1/4" of fabric featuring cute dogs for the lower part. Then, there's a band of mesh only and the top half is 4 1/2" of mesh with the fabric showing thru. Around the top is  a 1 1/3" band of fabric and the handles are mesh and fabric. The tote is 14" x 14". The handles have an 8 1/2" drop. This is a great tote for the beach or pool. Thanks for looking at an item from Jewelry By Sala, handmade in California.

Here is the second version of Big Kitty Faces. I used the faces fabric for the body of the case, utilizing that great turquoise background. But this time I also used a turquoise background fabric for the cuff. It has small triangles on it, instead of kitties. The stirp of fabric in between the two main fabrics is the all over kitty fabric, with multi colors. This mostly turquoise pillowcase is 100% cotton. The overall size is 30 1/2" long by 19" wide, to fit a standard size pillow. I recommend that you wash this in cold water. This is a great gift for a cat lover or a collector of Laurel Burch.
