Polymer Clay Dichroic Glass and Copper Wire Pendant

How do I begin to describe this pendant? First of all, it's based a little bit on a tutorial by artist Christi Friesen, with its whimsical Dr. Seuss-like swirls and curls of purple, blue, teal and crackled gold foil polymer clay. For this piece I decided the clay tendrils should embrace and surround an icy blue and green dichroic glass cabochon. Of course I can't help but want to add wire to everything I make too, so there are also swirls and curls of copper wire adorned with peacock blue freshwater pearls and crystal faceted rondelles. I made the dichroic glass cabochon myself, and I added several copper links in an extender chain finished with another peacock blue pearl and a crystal.

The cord is baby blue suede, adjustable from 16 1/2 inches to 19 inches. The pendant itself measures about 2 3/4 inches by about 1 3/4 inches.

You can't help but have fun wearing this unique pendant.

Thanks, Christie! :) I believe it was this one, available on the Beading Daily website. I didn't download the tutorial, but I did base the idea on the tutorial, though I rarely copy anything exactly. http://www.beadingdaily.com/media/p/3624.aspx
