This beautiful dress is made from crepe back satin, silk, lace and tulle underskirt. The empire waist dress is made with all french seams with the crepe back satin. Satin trimes the gathered sleeves. I used the silk to pleat the wraped bodice. I love the elegant champagne sash around the waistline and vintage off white buttons in back found from my grandmother's sewing kit. The dress is fully lined with soft polyester lining that that will be comfortable for your baby's skin.
I added a piece of vintage jewelry to add to the pin (shown in top picture) gathering the skirt up on one side. (You can pick your piece of vintage jewerly from a selection I'll convo with you. ) When the baby is sitting and laying, this draping is beautiful. The lace and tulle underskirt is allowed to show off with this pin. And the pin itself just adds so much personality to each dress.

I like quality! So, I sew with that in mind. I want your garment to be worn forever! I sew all seams then finish with a serged edge. I also line the garments as much as possible.
The blessing and christening dresses have as many French seams that I can put in.
