This White PUL is a 1 mm. Laminated Polyester Interlock Knit fabric. It is shiny on the laminated side.

This fabric is great for all your waterproof needs. Works great for diapers, mom pads, bibs, bags, etc.

It is sold by the Meter/Metre x 144-147 cm wide (40 inches long x 57-58 inches wide).

PUL
Polyester Urethane Laminate = PUL is fabric with a waterproof laminate applied to the back.  It is the waterproof layer in the majority of styles of reusable diapers.
This makes for an extremely thin, soft fabric that is waterproof and easy to care for.

AIO - All-In-One - AIOs are fitted diapers that have a waterproof outer layer. This layer usually consists of fabric that has a PUL (PolyUrethane Laminate) backing, polar fleece such as Windpro, or wool. These are the closest in similarity to disposable diapers since they are a one-piece diapering system. The absorbent soaker material is often sewn into the diaper; it may also be detachable.

AI2 - All-In-Two - AI2s are very similar to AIOs with the exception that the absorbent soaker material is not attached to the diaper in any way. The soaker is usually a second, separate piece that must be used in conjunction with the diaper. The drying time for these diapers is shorter than the traditional AIO.

Diaper Covers - Covers come in many styles and shapes, but their function is to provide a waterproof outer layer for non-waterproof diapers (all except AIOs). They are often fitted with elastic and fasten with snaps or Velcro. Some covers pull-up, like underpants. Diaper covers are usually made from polyester, Polyurethane laminates (PUL), waterproof nylon, fleece or wool.

Interlock Description: Compound fabric made by “inter-knitting,” or interlocking, two simple ribbed fabrics, each made with single yarn. It has fine ribs running lengthwise. Fabric’s face and reverse look same, making it reversible.
Properties: Almost no lengthwise stretch; more crosswise stretch than double knits or jerseys; fairly good shape retention. Raw or cut edges don’t curl; unravels only from end last knitted.
Best use: Wonderful for T-shirts, turtlenecks, casual skirts and dresses, and children’s wear. Because of its crosswise stretch, use pattern designed for interlock knits, or be prepared to adjust pattern.

Please note: 100% Cotton knits will shrink up to 6 inches per yard when washed. Please allow for this when purchasing your fabric and making your items.
