Add a bit of sunshine to your living room! Make a handmade pleated boxes pillow and pillow form that is the perfect size to accent a chair. Cover is a simple envelope-back style, and can be removed for easy cleaning.

 

Supplies:

  • 8 assorted fabric strips, 2” wide and 12” long.
  • ½ yard of solid background fabric
  • ½ yard of inexpensive muslin fabric, like an upcycled sheet
  • 8-10 oz. synthetic fiber fill
  • Rotary cutter, acrylic ruler and cutting mat
  • Thread, sewing pins and iron

Finished size when filled: 17" long x 12" tall, x 6" wide

Supplies

  • 2 yards background fabric
  • 1 Layer Cake of 10"x10" fabric squares
    Note: Pattern calls for only 16 squares. May substitute 8 fat quarters, 16 fat eighths, or large scraps.
  • 50" x 50" quilt batting
  • 3/4 yard binding fabric
  • 2 yards backing fabric
  • Rotary cutter, acrylic ruler, and cutting mat
  • Thread, sewing pins, and iron
