When we asked Meylah’s community on Facebook what goals they have for their business in 2011, we were delighted to receive such great and vast responses from so many incredibly talented and ambitious folks! Perhaps their goals may be good for you to consider adopting as well!
2011 Business Goals
1. Rose Reyes of Unik Apparel: Take more risks!
2. Laura Melia Kelly of Peace Love Glass: My goal is to get setup on MailChimp.
3. Marlo Miyashiro of Creative Arts Consulting: Find Balance in both business and personal endeavors.
4. Marja Huhta of Glass Elements: Sustainability, taking on only as much as I can truly handle & planning for it in advance!
5. Rosalie Gale of Unanimous Craft and Etsy Saver: My goal this year is to double my income. Bang!
6. Christie Schuler Smith of Earth Psalts: My goal is to stick with it and not give up!
7. Priscilla Schaffner: Stop procrastinating & open an Etsy shop to sell jewelry!
8. Melissa Williams: My goal is to turn my jewelry hobby into a jewelry business.
9. Alisa Lahti of Alisa Lahti Art shared multiple goals, including:
- A new body of work on a larger scale
- Participate in three exhibits
- Finish the szopka
- Stretch goal: Break Even!
10. Lynn Sida also had several goals in mind:
- Take better product pictures
- Learn to and actually blog
- Learn to teach classes
- Have 365 Days of Christmas in my shop
11. Chaitra Vedullapalli of Creative Children for Charity (3C): Inspire more kids to donate their creativity and to live a healthy and balanced life!
12. Marissa Fleur offered a great list of goals so we captured all of them:
- To attract more customers to my Etsy store
- To create my personal online shop
- To get more understanding on how to become successful in e-commerce
- To acquire more knowledge of Photoshop to make the pictures of my products look more eye-catching and attractive
- To implement all (or at least half) of my ideas of the new product types and designs
- To study new techniques and get more knowledge in my field (Learning is a never-ending process!)
- To quit my office job and spend more time on making my creations and running my own business
