I'm so excited to have the opportunity to share a Byte-Syze Learning today on how to make a simple pair of earrings using basic wire jewelry techniques.
Making wire jewelry is a blast because the techniques are easy to learn and the end product looks great. It's also a great hobby that you can introduce to your kids. I remember that the gifts I felt most proud to give as a child were the ones I made by hand.
Byte-Syze Learning is fabulous for several reasons! First and foremost, if you decide you want to sell your tutorials, you only have to create the lessons once and the residual income just keeps coming in, unlike creating products where you are constantly having to reproduce your stock to continue making money. Or, if you would like to share your tutorials for free (like I've done here), you can do that as well. Another great aspect of Byte-Syze Learning is that it includes video. All the video clips I used in this tutorial were shot with a point and shoot Canon G9 camera (not even a video camera). This is really exciting for folks that don't own video cameras. Flip cameras are also a perfect option for shooting these short video clips! One final reason why I feel so passionate about Byte-Syze Learning is that it combines different ways of learning - through audio, video, images, and text.
I hope you enjoy my tutorial and begin considering the ways that you can use Byte-Syze Learning to teach your skills and profit by doing so!
If you end up making some earrings based on this lesson, PLEASE post a link to images of your earrings in the comments section below or upload them to our Flickr group, Encounters of the Creative Kind!
Oh, and if you like the earrings I created on this tutorial, feel free to purchase them from my new Meylah store!
