Facebook polls and surveys can be fantastic ways to learn more about your customers and fine tune your marketing messages and offerings. There are several ways to run polls and surveys on Facebook, but which one do you choose? This week we’re running a two part series how to get started, so let’s kick it off with how to do a Facebook poll.
Facebook polls can be one question, multiple choice or even quick quizzes. They are the easiest way to gather quick information from your customers and are best suited to situations where you only want to ask one question and have your poll takers choose from a selection of multiple choice answers. An example might be:
"What do you think is the best material for knitted scarves? a. Wool, b. Cotton, c. Polyester
This can easily be done within Facebook's "poll" application and can be posted directly to your page's wall. Similar to how fans see your page's status updates, your poll will show up as an item in your fan's news feed once you have launched it.
