Pinterest is the fastest growing social media site today and an amazing tool for bringing potential customers to your online store, if you know how to use it.
With that said, you can drive traffic to your Meylah store using Pinterest and just a few simple tips. Here are my top four tips for using Pinterest:
1. On-The-Go Photos
A high quality photo of your product on a background or on a model is perfect for your website, but on Pinterest users want to see your product in action. Whether it’s someone wearing your yoga-t during their first marathon or friends modeling their new made-by-you jewelry, your users will respond to seeing people like themselves enjoying your product. Encourage your followers to share their photos by hosting a contest or offering a discount code to those who share.
2. Host Or Share An Event
If you’re a part of your local art and craft sale collective offer to set up a Pinterest board to promote its events. The board will interest potential attendees by giving them a taste of what’s in store, and provide an easy way for sellers and attendees to invite people to the sale. Additional the board can help your collective build recognition in your community and bring more first timers to sell and shop.
3. Team Up
You can promote the work of artists you love on your own boards, as a way to support your fellow artists and encourage them to share yours. Or, work with other Meylah sellers on a team board to promote all of your work and share followers.
4. Spread The Good News
Buying online is tricky, because no matter how good the picture, you never know what the product is going to look like in your home. Help your followers build confidence in your products by sharing comments from satisfied customers.

I have used pinterest to optimize my site and it has improved from page 7 to #3 spot in 3 weeks time.
I found that the seller named "pinterest", which ranked first when you search "pinterest" at Fiverr, has produced the best results on my websites. The seller pins my site with 75 different people, not sure how he did this, but it has improved my SERP's ranking. I've tried 5 other sellers who offer similar gigs on Fiverr but they can't improve my site's ranking. I don't know why. Maybe he has magical trick. lol.
Some advantages of pinterest for seo:
- Links and images from pinterest are dofollow!
- Each pin is considered as 3 inbound links.
- Google loves social media signal.
