Bookkeeping 101

Bookkeeping. We all know it's important, but somehow it always ends up at the bottom of our to-do lists. Overwhelmed at the thought of it? Not sure where to begin? Come learn some simple steps to getting started, discover the basics of setting up an easy-to-maintain system, and feel more prepared for tax time! Danae, a small business owner and professional bookkeeper, will also make sure there's lots of time to answer all your questions.

Going Legit: Business Licenses & Taxes

Have you been doing business without a license? Worried it's too expensive or confusing to get one? Dreading adding another set of taxes to your to-do list? Come put those fears at ease and learn how simple and affordable licensing your business really is! Danae will cover applying for both state and city business licenses, resellers permits, and filing state and city taxes. As always, there will be plenty of time to ask questions.

Both classes are taught by Danae Horst.  Being a bookkeeper by trade, Danae, a former organizer for School House Craft, understands the importance of having a system to keep track of finances and enjoys helping creative small business owners set up their own systems- especially the ones who are afraid of numbers.
