Independent Spirit: July 4th Roundup

Oh, say can you see … some red, white and blue?

The colors, sights, stars and stripes of July 4th find their way into the work of many creative entrepreneurs.

So, here's a roundup of Independence Day-inspired work:

1. Is there any better occasion for these imaginative American Flag coasters from Quietude Quilts?

2. Freedom? Yes, it's a great thing. Let's celebrate it with this red, white and blue banner from Lil Tulip.

3. The kids might prefer Freedom the sock monkey from Addieology. He's so patriotic that he's got "USA" stitched into his bottom!

4. Back to the coaster department, these firework-inspired tiles from Classy Chic Boutique look retro and festive.

5. Pinwheels pop up every summer, but we've never seen ones like these red-white-and blue pinwheels from Rule 42. Great for the kids!

6. The Statue of Liberty is an image we all recognize, yet Rambled and Blushed found a fresh angle in this beautiful portrait.

7. Does Abraham Lincoln deserve to be on a T-shirt? Phipps Art thinks so.

Happy July 4th, everyone!
