When a friend of mine found out she was having a baby boy I new I had to make a quilt and adorn it with a cute little owl. And so this pattern was created. The 2nd picture on this listing shows part of the quilt I made her with my owl appliquéd to it.
You will receive a PDF file of the Owl appliqué pattern that you can use to adorn your project or to create your own fun applique. The pattern comes with basic instructions on how to applique using fusible paper and full-scale pattern pieces. The pattern is drawn on the computer which means all the lines are clear and crisp. In addition to the pattern, a coloring sheet is included for you to audition color schemes for your owl (or to let your little ones color) and a project note sheet is also included. I have also included a page full of fun ideas to spur your creativity.
When printed from the PDF file, this appliqué pattern creates a ~7” tall owl and all the pieces fit on a single standard sheet of paper. You can use the pattern as an appliqué on quilts, bags, clothing or just about anything else. Enlarge or reduce as needed to fit your project.
Thanks for looking and Happy Sewing!

Thank you very much for the Hollowing bags you made for our kindergarten class. I am certain that all parents will cherish this wonderful gift. Thank you again!
Is this a machine appliqué ?
This is not a machine appliqué pattern. I like using steam a seam lite and simply fusing the pieces down and then doing a basic straight stitch around the pieces. :-)
