The border and backing of this small piece is a fabric printed with vintage look ships and lighthouses. The sail on the sailboat is paper pieced in a log-cabin technique that gives the sail a curved dimensional look. The mugrug is 7"x8", just large enough for a cup of coffee and a snack to sit upon. It is machine quilted for durability. This piece is machine washable, and dryable, made from cotton fabrics and batting. The words "Sail Away" are my own design, hand embroidered in red embroidery floss.
