black and pearl spats

These spats are cut from fabric that is sprawled with vintage sage leaves and flowers in shades of rose.. burgundy and rich cream.

They have a side panel of slate on gray striped canvas are fully lined with yet another contrasting cotton.

They measure 5 inches on the back and tie in back via grommits and ribbon. They are held in place by a strip of elastic on the bottom.

The spats were designed to go over a high heels but i also wear them over flats as long as there is some sort of heel for the elastic. Since they are tied in the back they will fit a variety of sizes and there shouldnt be a problem unless you wear like a size 12 (us) which would make you a rather large "man" laugh...

the amzing thing is that the ribbons can be changed..a subtle change in color makes an astounding difference... and so does texture...for instance silk ..satin or velet ribbons .... etc.

in my opinion these look their very best when worn with ripped up jeans.....thats how i wear mine
