Criticism is easy. Adding value is hard. Choose the right thing to do. Even very smart people can't resist the temptation to criticize.

Honestly, it does not take a lot of brainpower to find fault in anything. I mean ANYTHING. The problem becomes worse when criticizing becomes a habit and you start engaging in mindless criticism. While no one may say anything openly when you criticize, they know that you are not being fair when you are not being fair. You reveal more about yourself than about what you are criticizing.

Where to use it:

In Your Office: As a reminder to stop criticizing needlessly.

In Your Cube: As a reminder to everyone visiting take and give criticism in the right fashion.
