Perfect for beginners or more advanced sew-ers who want a fast & easy project, this pattern is easy to customize. Quilters could free motion quilt the bag & embroiders could add their name or a cute bit of stitching!

This bag is padded, insuring that your project doesn't get squished and measures a generous 12.5x12.5''. It can be made in a variety of fabrics including quilting cottons, linen, double cotton gauze & voile.

Materials Needed:

  • 1/4 yd or fq of fabric for bag top
  • 1/2 yd of fabric for bag bottom
  • 1/2 yd of fabric for bag lining
  • 1/2 yd of fusible interfacing, Pellon Themolam TP971F (can be found at most JoAnns) or batting
  • 12 inch zipper
  • Zipper foot for your sewing machine
  • Scraps of ribbon (optional)
  • Sewing machine, thread, rotary cutter & mat.
