 I live in my landlocked hometown of Denver, CO with my wonderful husband, beautiful little daughter, and very hairy dog.

The ocean is my favorite place in the world. There is just something about that ocean air that makes me feel alive!

Shell hunting is one of my favorite ways to spend my time. Whenever we take beach vacations, I get up super early while my family is still sleeping, grab some coffee and baked goods, and get out on the beach to collect shells right when the sun comes up. I take home at least 50 pounds of shells, packing an extra bags for my lovely loot.

I love all shells, especially the tiny shells and shell pieces. Tiny shells are my favorite. I am always so amazed by their detail and beauty. Shell pieces are also cool because I try to picture what shell they came from and I appreciate their new shapes and amazing colors.
