Rumor has it, that back in the days of the wild west, these tokens were used by patrons as a form of payment for services rendered in houses of ill repute.
I found these gems while at a flea market and have turned them into necklaces, bracelets, charms and key rings.
The token measures 1.5" in diameter is made of solid brass and has writing on both sides of it.
Front side reads: LEONIE. And features a picture of a young woman.
Back side reads: LEONIE. THE STUDIO. 123, WEST. 29. STREET
Placed on a antique brass "rollo" style chain 20" in length and fastened with a lobster claw. I am happy to make any chain longer or shorter, just email me your preferences.
