Yeah! Also, I made the flowers that go with the costume. I am happy with the finished product.

I'm still getting used to all the driving around dropping off the kids to school. Note: Remember? I'm not a morning person. After I drop off the kiddos, I go to the studio and try to be creative. Today, I managed to start about six projects... five of them are calaveras. What can I say, Halloween and Day of the Dead are just around the corner. In any case, I hope I have lots of new bling by the end of the week.

Usually, my work is more rugged or focused around bright and in-your-face colors, Mexican Folk Art and Day of the Dead themes. Today, I took a break from that and took a totally different path to create these white, flower, hair accessories. Granted, they are a custom order (otherwise, I don't think I would have created them), I actually had a great time making these hairpins. My customer, who is musician -she plays the harp- likes angel like themes. So there you have it, the inspiration was white, white and more white. She must have some wedding gigs coming up. I'm grateful for the fun challenges my customers request. Now back to hitting metal.
