Your Account

1. I forgot my password, how do I find it?

If you've forgotten your password, go to your Meylah Admin page and click on the link under the password section to access your password.

2. Can I hide my email address or personal information?

Yes, absolutely. Log into your Admin and select the "Your Settings Tab." Next, under the sub-tab titled "Footer," uncheck the boxes of whichever information you wish to hide, such as your email address, your physical address, or your phone number.

3. Can I change my URL?

It is very important that you select your store name (URL) with great care (www.meylah.com/yourstorename). Once you have selected your store name, you will not be able to change it. You can however create a unique URL (www.yourstorename.com) externally and forward or redirect it to your Meylah URL (www.meylah.com/yourstorename).

4. Can I use my own domain name (URL) for my Meylah store?

Yes, absolutely! Using your own domain name (URL) is a great way to personalize and brand your business and it's so easy to do. All you have to do is get your current domain registrar to redirect your current domain name to your new Meylah domain name (URL) and your customers will enjoy a picture perfect and memorable experience when visiting your new domain name.

5. Does Meylah provide me with an email address?

At this time Meylah does not provide you with any email service. There are several services that allow you to create your own email addresses. Some of the free ones are Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft. If you want to create your own email address to reflect your business name, then you can go to Network Solutions, Go Daddy, Namecheap, and many others. although there is a small monthly or annual subscription cost associated with these services.

6. How do I manage my Google Analytics?

Currently, you cannot manage your store through Google Analytics, but not to worry as we have made it very simple for you to manage store analytics directly in your Meylah Admin. We are providing the summary of the analytics on your "Dashboard" tab and you can choose any period of time to see the summary of your results.

7. I'm not receiving email notifications for my new orders, how can I set that up?

Email notifications on new orders are automated for your account so you don't need to set anything up. If you are not receiving email notifications when you get a new order, please verify your email address is the one you signed up with Meylah by logging into your Admin and clicking on the "Your Settings" tab. You can view and edit your email address in this section under the "Your Account" details.

8. I'm not receiving text or RSS notifications for my new orders, how can I set that up?

At the moment, we do not have this capability although we are working towards this functionality in the future.

9. Can I create a URL redirect for my Meylah URL?

Yes, you can easily create a URL redirect to your Meylah URL, although it must be done from your domain registrar. For example, if you own the URL www.johnsmith.com and you want to redirect it to your Meylah store www.meylah.com/johnsmith then you must do that in your URL registrar account like GoDaddy.com, Network Solutions, or another domain registrar.

10. How do I close my Meylah store?

We are very sorry you want to close your account and we hope you will let us know what we can do to change your mind. In order to close your account, go into Your Admin and under the "Your Settings" tab and "Your Account" sub-tab, scroll to the bottom and select the “delete” button under "Delete Your Meylah Account."

11. Can I suspend my shop for a while then reopen it?

Yes, absolutely. In order to close your shop for a while and then reopen it you can put it in "Vacation Mode". In order to put your store in “Vacation Mode,” go into Your Admin and under the "Your Settings" tab and "Advanced” sub-tab, scroll to the bottom and select the “enable” button under "Vacation Mode."

12. How do I change the account owner?

In order to change the account owner, you will need to login to your admin and go the section "My Settings" and click on About Me. Change the name and contact information for this section.
